I hope it’s true that Magic happens in Dublin!

Als voltants de Dublin gairebe tot es verd.

I a la ciutat, l’unic que em fa recordar que Dublin es una poblacio amb tants habitants com Barcelona es la quantitat de gent que corre amunt i avall pel carrer tot el dia.

Els edificis son mes aviat baixets i, en proporcio, els son carrers amples. No se si ho fa la construccio d’obra vista, pero Dublin te un encant especial.

Si no, Dublin dona la sensacio de ser una poblacio mitjana (ciutat petita)…

Amb molts colors…

I amb molts espais agradables per passejar.

M’encanta el contrast entre el cel ple de nuvols ben foscos i la llum del sol acabat de sortir –a Dublin es facil veure-ho.

Cada vegada que hi he anat (3 cops aquest any), a estones feia sol i en d’altres plovia o feia una nuvolada considerable. A Dublin un sempre te tema de conversa : )

Mezkal also provides the following information: in Spain, minimum wage is 8.736 euros/year (that is, 624eur/month split into 14 pays). It was probably a mistake. Thanks, Mezkal!

I took these on the same day I took a few shots of my grandma.

It finally feels like Fall here: a few nights last week we reached 43 or 44 ºF. This morning is mainly cloudy, although the sun shows up every now and then, which is nice : )

We’ve had the central heating on for a couple of days… and I admit I’m cozy seating by the electric heater : )

Posaré l’excusa que no sóc de la ciutat de Barcelona (només hi vaig viure durant uns quants mesos, després de néixer, al micro-pis que els meus pares hi tenien aleshores), per dir que no tenia ni idea que a la ciutat comtal hi hagués tants barris!

Aquest post és antic (del 2006), però serveix per fer-se’n una idea. Algú sap com va acabar el tema de la redenominació i divisió de barris?
